Web Profile Projects
Modernizing UNC Charlotte Web Services
At UNC Charlotte, we are working to make our university websites safer, easier to use, and accessible for everyone. To achieve this goal, we are updating how web pages and faculty profiles are managed across campus.
Below is an overview of the three key web projects taking place across the university.

| Overview | A complete review and update of the main charlotte.edu website and related university pages. It will deliver a fresh design, better content, and easier navigation for all users. Additional project information (coming soon) | Faculty profile information displayed on the website will pull from Watermark and Banner. This creates a standard look, improves digital accessibility, increases online security, and prevents duplicate data entry across sites. The other systems currently used for this purpose, Faculty Connections and The College of Engineering webpages will be disabled no later than the end of June 2026. Additional project information | Retiring the older personal web hosting service (hosting.charlotte.edu / webpages.charlotte.edu).
