FAQS

Why are we moving to Salesforce?

Salesforce will provide a unified, connected approach to student success across campus — ultimately bringing advising, tutoring and student services into one system.

When can advisors see what the new system looks like?

We expect to offer info sessions to show the new system in October/November. The info sessions will provide a high-level overview and will not be hands-on.

Once the new system is configured, we plan to offer training sessions shortly before go-live so that advisors can have hands-on access. Additional training will be offered in the weeks following go-live.

When will students see what the new system looks like?

Academic Affairs and University Communications are working to finalize communications to students, with first notice coming in late Fall 2026. More details to come.

Will training be available for advisors?

Yes, training will be available before and immediately after go-live. More details to come.

Will training be available for students?

Yes. Support documentation and training videos will be available to students immediately before and after go-live.

What ongoing support will be available after go-live for advisors? For students?

Go live is just the beginning of the journey. Advisors and students will have ongoing support as they learn to navigate the new system using the following resources:

More details will be available closer to Go-live.

Are students involved in this project?

Student feedback has been and will continue to be solicited through Enrollment Management as needed throughout the project.

What will the new Salesforce platform be called? Will the name Connect be retired?

Stakeholders are discussing the name of the new platform. More information to come prior to launch.
